As National Federation Members who manage FEI Endurance Athletes and Horses on the FEI Database, we would like to remind you of an upcoming change in regards to FEI Endurance Trainers.

As of 1 July 2020 the new FEI Endurance Rules will apply and Art. 828.3 will come into force.

Art. 828.3: Any change in the Trainer of the Horse must be notified to the FEI without delay. If the registered Trainer of a Horse changes, the Horse may not participate in any Competition for a period of 30 days, starting from the date of notification of the change to the FEI.

We therefore encourage you to check that all your Horse Trainers are correct and up to date in the FEI Database. Guidelines on how to add or change a Trainer for a Horse can be found here.

After 1 July 2020, the FEI Database will control any change of Trainer and apply Art. 828.3 accordingly.
